Fighting flu starts with you

A promotional graphic with the message "Fighting Flu Starts With You" on a turquoise background. It encourages people to ask about the flu vaccine, featuring a red stop sign icon with the word "FLU" on it.

People aged 65 years and over are eligible to get a free influenza vaccine under the National Immunisation Program.

Influenza (the flu), is a very contagious infection of the airways and vaccination is the safest and most effective way to protect yourself and your family.

If you or a family member are eligible, talk to your health professional. Read more about the influenza (flu) vaccine.
