How to prepare for the 3G network shutdown

Image related to 3G network shutdown

From 28 October 2024, major telecommunication providers will switch off their 3G networks. All devices relying on a 3G network will be affected. This includes personal medical or alert alarms.

If you, or someone you care for, uses a personal medical or alert alarm connected through the 3G network, check if your device will be affected at 3Gclosure.com.au.

If your device is affected, you will need to upgrade before 28 October. To do so:

  • contact your aged care provider who will support you through this process

  • speak to My Aged Care on 1800 200 422 if you need more assistance.
