The Advisory Council provides independent advice to Government on matters relating to the aged care sector including services, access, capability and implementation of the reforms. This advice ensures any changes to aged care consider a wide range of perspectives.

Council members are not organisation representatives. They are selected for their expertise and connections in the aged care sector.
