Upcoming changes to the Australian National Aged Care Classification (AN-ACC)

From 1 October 2024, the Australian National Aged Care Classification (AN-ACC) average daily funding will increase by 13%. The AN-ACC funding model provides funding to approved providers to deliver residential aged care services.

This increase in average daily funding will ensure providers can meet the full costs of delivering care, including the increase to 215 care minutes and more funding to support higher wages. To learn more about care minute changes from October 1, visit our website.

From 20 September, we are also increasing the hotelling supplement to $12.55 per bed per day. This funding will support hotelling services such as cleaning, catering and gardening.
