We want to hear from older people, their carers and families on the funding arrangements for the new Support at Home program.

Your feedback will help everyone get ready for the new Act starting from 1 July 2025.

This is the second stage of consultation on the Rules for the new Aged Care Act, following recent consultation on the Service List.

This consultation covers Chapter 4 of the Aged Care Bill 2024 and is about funding of aged care services.

What will Stage 2 include:

  • Stage 2a focuses on Support at Home funding (available now)
  • Stage 2b covers the remaining Rules in Chapter 4 (to be released shortly)
