Further information

The Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission has released draft guidance material to support workers and providers to understand their responsibilities under the strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards. These will be implemented to make sure that older people receive safe, high quality aged care.

The Commission wants to hear from providers, aged care workers, older people and their representatives and other stakeholders. Your response will help produce resources that are fit for purpose, easy to understand and support the delivery of quality, person-centred aged care.

Read the draft guidance material and complete the feedback survey by 30 April 2024.

The Commission will shortly be releasing further draft guidance material that is specifically written for people receiving care, their families and advocates. You can stay up to date by visiting the Commission’s website.
