Further information

We invite older people, their families and carers to share their feedback on the funding arrangements for the new Aged Care Act.

This is Stage 2b of our consultation on the new Aged Care Rules. This stage covers most of Chapter 4 of the new Act, which is about funding of aged care services.

We've created a supporting document to help explain the Rules in this stage and support you to give feedback.

Your feedback will help everyone get ready for the new Act to start from 1 July, this year.

More topics, including grants and accommodation payments, will be released for feedback at a later date.

Provide feedback on Stage 2b via our online form by 28 February.
